Our role and responsibility in navigating COVID-19 is keeping you and our staff safe

A LETTER TO COIA’S CUSTOMERS

The world is grappling with an issue of enormous scale and human impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of coronavirus

At Coia`s, we believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our customers while also playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials as they work to contain the virus.

We appreciate your understanding that, as a customer, your Coia`s experience may look different as we navigate through this difficult time together . Since March 2020 we have made many changes at our stores to help keep our customers and employees safe. We continue to evaluate our policies and make necessary additions and changes as the situation evolves and we learn more.

Our staff do inform us if they or anyone in their household has been diagnosed with or has symptoms of Covid-19 and are prevented from working under such circumstances. If you, or anyone in your household has been diagnosed with, or has symptoms of Covid-19, please follow Government guidelines and self quarantine.

Our staff are following rigorous, frequent handwashing rules and are using the necessary PPE equipment as local Environmental Health officials have requested. All customers must sanitise their hands upon entry to the premises at the point of entry.

Please wear face coverings when not seated

In line with the recent Scottish Government announcements the sit-in area is closed. However, the takeaway service is still running. Opening times are as follows: Sunday-Thurs-8am-8.30pm / Friday and Saturday-8am-9pm

Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Thank you for bearing with us!

It is mandatory to wear a face covering when moving around our deli and restaurant.

We’ve deep cleaned Coia`s and thorough cleaning routines are taking place regularly all day, every day.

We're encouraging contactless payments to avoid handling cash. The contactless limit for card payments has increased to £45.

We have introduced new measures to ensure that we meet government advice on safe distancing. We ask all our guests to be respectful of this policy when they visit us.

Thank You from everyone at Coia's Cafe
